Crystals, gemstones are mineral combinations that grow is certain geometric shapes. Ancient people were always aware of their energetic properties, and many crystals like quartz have been recognized scientifically for their useful properties in electronics and optics. 

When worn on the body, crystals interact with a person's energetic field and chakras. Crystals can be combined for effective results in certain chakras.

Chakras are the energy centers of the human body, each with their own purpose and are blocked by certain negative stagnant energy. These stagnant energies are accumulated over life from unprocessed or repressed negative emotional events. Shadow work and meditation can help immensely in purifying and opening the chakras.
